Job Context:

Riseup Labs looking for QA Engineer (Automation) who will be responsible for delivering QA for software development agile teams in a cloud environment including designing and creating and maintaining the custom test automation framework. The SQA (Automation Engineer) role plays an important part of product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting regression automated tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective.

Job Responsibilities:

•Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
• Execute automated test suites for web applications and APIs
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Collaborate closely with developers, product, and business stakeholders
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Perform regression, smoke, and performance-related testing
• Review requirements and specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and automation practices

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Additional Requirements:

  • • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automated Tester or QA Automation Engineer
    • Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks
    • Solid understanding of software testing principles and QA best practices
    • Experience testing web applications, APIs, and backend systems
    • Ability to write clean, maintainable automation code
    • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent written and spoken English communication skillsNice to Have:
    • Experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline integration
    • Exposure to performance or security testing
    • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
    • Experience collaborating with distributed or international teams

Work Place:

  • Remote (Office Time: 07.00 PM-04.00 AM)

Salary: 

  • Negotiable (Based on experience and skills)
